Background and Rationale: This presentation will examine the theoretical constructs and relationships between occupation, justice, and a person-centered approach as perceived by occupational therapy students in a community-based fieldwork. The dynamic nature of the healthcare system and the recent decline in placements for fieldwork present unique challenges to student learning. To meet the demand for these challenges, students are increasingly being placed in community-based settings for completion of their required fieldwork.
