A plethora of testimonials regarding the process of divorce and divorce mediation can be found in the literature. Discussions of problems experienced by children following a divorce and group interventions have been presented in several journals. However, the literary accounts of tested treatment approaches that meet the needs of family members following a divorce are sparse. This paper proposes a post-divorce treatment model which attempts to provide the parents emotional support, communication skills and education around how child process divorce.
