This thesis reviews the literature on the relationship between childhood peer rejection and future adolescent delinquency in males. Areas significant to this relationship are reviewed, including the association between aggression and peer rejection and the association between deviant peer group association and delinquency. Conclusions drawn from this review indicate a positive relationship between peer rejection and delinquency, with childhood aggression playing a significant role in initial rejection and deviant peer group association initiating and encouraging delinquent behavior
