WL Library mounts display of banned books in October

The West Linn Public Library will display books challenged or banned in the past year to commemorate Banned books Week 1991 - Celebrating the Freedom to Read. Many well-known books have been challenged for their objectionable language or perceived threat to social values and ideals. The Clackamas County libraries support the fundamental right to read guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution
