A review committee unanimously voted to keep “Witches and Witchcraft” by Adrienne Jack on library shelves. Parents Dawn and Doug Stover, parents of a first grader, filed a complaint to have the book removed from school library shelves. Dawn Stover said she doesn’t feel the book is appropriate for children and promotes witchcraft as an acceptable lifestyle. The Stover’s had already met with the principal and superintendent and then filed a formal complaint about the book. The board will decide at a later date whether it will follow the committee’s advice to keep the book
