Students at Dallas High School examined banned and challenged books and censorship in a class about the First Amendment. The class, which has been popular with students but also has the potential to stir controversy in this conservative town, asks students to develop their own opinions on literature and basic freedoms. The article also reviews challenges to materials in Oregon from July 1, 1994 to June 30, 1995
