Mentoring undergraduates in research is one of our most rewarding activities in the STEM disciplines and is an excellent way to promote the growth and rigor of our academic programs. A recent publication by the Council on Undergraduate Research, “Characteristics of Excellence in Undergraduate Research,” has prompted discussion of STEM activities at Bridgewater State University (BSU).
