This session is an interdisciplinary examination of expressive movement. Representatives of dance, theatre, music, and communicative arts will collaborate to find similarities and contrasts between how these disciplines approach and teach expressive movement. Techniques and philosophies can be shared across educational boundaries to form meaningful connections between movement and expression. Specific discussions will include ways of teaching expressive movement to beginners. Audience members can feel free to interact with the panel and can expect to be active participants (in a safe learning environment)
