A survey of 774 BSC students was conducted during the 2009-2010 academic year. A primary focus of the survey was to learn about students’ experiences and perspectives regarding online learning. Forty three percent (n=333) of the students reported having taken online classes; the reported range was 1 – 10 classes, although the majority have taken one or two online classes. This presentation will describe the focus groups that led to the survey development and then the students’ survey responses, including their attitudes and beliefs about online learning, their satisfaction with online learning experiences, as well as their preferences for learning
