Prevention programs are needed to address addictive behaviors among student-athletes. To develop effective interventions, we must first understand addictive behaviors for this population. This project is part of an on-going research effort to increase our understanding of addictive behaviors among the collegiate student-athlete population, a unique sub-group. Current research supports the hypothesis that collegiate student-athletes may be at a greater risk for addictive behaviors when compared to their peers.
