Men have everything including the highest death rates in 9 out of the 10 leading causes of death ranging from cancer and heart disease to unintentional injuries (accidents) and suicide. Many of these illnesses are preventable; however, many males do not have a consistent source of health care nor do they access health care in a timely or frequent manner to prevent these outcomes. There are many postulates as to why men avoid accessing health care, but these are mainly subjective in nature.
