Ansiedad y estrés en la educación virtual en el periodo de emergencia sanitaria por el COVID-19

The pandemic caused by the effects of COVID-19 has generated a variety of changes in the lifestyle that we were used to leading, especially in students who must follow the course of their academic activities virtually, generating changes in health as consequences mental. The purpose of the research was to determine the relationship between anxiety and stress presented by students in the period of the health emergency due to COVID-19. A study was carried out with a quantitative approach, of a descriptive type with a correlational design. The population consisted of 411 students from the Initial Education Studies Program of the National University of the Altiplano, the stratified sample of 164 from the first to the tenth cycle. The information obtained for the development of the research was obtained through two questionnaires proposed and applied using the Google form, both to measure the level of anxiety and stress with 20 and 30 questions respectively. The results obtained were that anxiety is related to stress, accepting the alternative hypothesis, where a high percentage of students are under the effects of anxiety and stress in the development of virtual education, which generates difficulties in achieving academic skills in this sense, preventive measures should be taken for mental health care.La pandemia causada por efectos del COVID-19 ha generado diversidad de cambios en el estilo de vida que estabamos acostumbrados a llevar, sobre todo en los estudiantes que deben seguir el curso de sus actividades académicas de manera virtual, generando como consecuencias cambios en la salud mental. La investigación tuvo por propósito determinar la relación entre la ansiedad y el estrés que presentan los estudiantes en el periodo de la emergencia sanitaria por el COVID-19. Se llevo a cabo un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo con diseño correlacional. La población estuvo constituida por 411 estudiantes del Programa de Estudios de Educación Inicial de la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano, la muestra estratificada de 164 del primero al décimo ciclo. La información obtenida para el desarrollo de la investigación se obtuvo por medio de dos cuestionarios propuestos y aplicados haciendo uso del formulario de Google, ambos para medir el nivel de ansiedad y estrés con 20 y 30 preguntas respectivamente. Los resultados obtenidos fueron, que la ansiedad se relaciona con el estrés, aceptándose la hipótesis alterna, donde un alto porcentaje de estudiantes se encuentran bajo efectos de ansiedad y estrés en el desarrollo de la educación virtual, lo cual genera dificultades para logro de competencias académicas, en tal sentido se deben tomar medidas preventivas para el cuidado de la salud mental
