International audienceWe compared ageing resistance of polypyrrole (PPY), polyaniline (PANI) and polyethylene dioxithiophene (PEDT) samples, protected or not by an oxygene barrier vinylydene polychloride layer (PVDC), by recording the variations of their respective electrical conductivity. A first 550 hours at 100 ○CC ageing test allows us to choose the most efficient formulation of PVDC. Selected samples have been aged at 70 ○C. After 1300 hours of ageing, protected PEDT's sample electrical conductivity was 98% of its initial value, whereas PPY's was 75% and PANI's 50%.
