PDZ domains proteins are involved in protein-protein interaction (PPI) and participate in the transport of signals involved in numerous diseases (cancer, cystic fibrosis, pain, …). The disruption the interaction between the PDZ domains protein, PSD-95, and the serotonin receptor, 5-HT2A, reduces mechanical hyperalgesia in a rodent model of neuropathic pain in rats.
