This paper presents forensic knowledge and experience in the Hungarian environment, further it presents the conditions that help profiling in the domestic environment, systematizes them and presents their significance, and draws attention to the points where further development opportunities are provided for researchers in this field, and seeks to draw attention to dangerous signs that could lead to profiling in the wrong direction through improper inspections (documentation).Jelen tanulmány a kriminalisztikai ismeretek és tapasztalatok révén a gyakorló szakember szemével mutatja be és rendszerezi a profilalkotást segítő körülményeket a hazai környezetben, valamint felhívja a figyelmet azokra a pontokra, ahol további fejlesztési lehetőségek adódnak az e területen kutatók számára, és olyan veszélyes jelekre koncentrál, amelyek a nem szakszerűen lefolytatott szemle (és annak dokumentációja) révén téves irányba vihetik a profilalkotó tevékenységet
