Pimelodus absconditus and Triportheus nematurus are two poorly known species poorly represented in Uruguay. We report new records of both species, with implications on their geographical distribution.Nuevos registros y ampliación de la distribución de Pimelodus absconditus Azpelicueta, 1995 (Siluriformes: Pimelodidae) y Triportheus nematurus (Kner, 1858) (Characiformes: Triportheidae), en Uruguay.
