Finding alternative food sources that are environmentally friendly, economical and that meet the nutritional needs of people and animals has become a constant concern for humanity. Therefore, the objective of this work is to determine the nutritional value of the flour of the dragonfly larva (Anisóptera) as a dietary alternative for guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus). This work was developed in the town of Latacunga, Cotopaxi province, Ecuador.
