The research is based on the application of information technology and communication (TIC) in the classrooms of an institution of higher education. The TIC tools applied in the teaching-learning process in the classrooms in order to be a support in this process. The investigation objective was to know the perception of students about the use of TIC for teaching and learning processes that are occurring in the higher education system. The methodology used was based on literature reviews, application of quantitative technique, in this case the questionnaire; post-processing data descriptive analysis and inferential analysis.
