Graduation date: 2006As researchers, policymakers and employers begin focusing\ud on consumer driven health plan models and medical savings\ud accounts (MSAs), a better understanding of the political\ud viability of such reform initiatives is necessary. The\ud purpose of this study was to survey state legislators'\ud knowledge and perceptions of medical savings accounts\ud (MSAs) and the U.S. health care system in order to identify\ud potential future compromises to health care reform.
