Through research it has been proven that early intensive behavioral treatment has been effective in children with developmental disorders; specifically children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Children diagnosed with this particular disorder display deficits in communication, social interaction and problem behaviors. Through parent completed surveys, this study looks at the number of hours of early intensive behavioral treatment children diagnosed with ASD and the effects that it has had on these children. Surveys were completed by parents who live both in Monroe County (located in New York) and in neighboring counties and states.
