The goals of education are to promote the academic, as well as the social development of students. Cooperative learning is one way to attain that goal. This paper will recreate cooperative learning research, in a New York high school Earth Science Regents inclusive classroom using lesson study. It does not specifically address one or more types of learning disabilities, but rather how teachers can help all students with learning disabilities in the inclusive classroom
