The research for this action research paper was conducted for six months in the spring of 2008. The research focused on the benefits of early intervention for students with disabilities and was conducted to uncover if there are multiple benefits associated with beginning formal education before age three. This paper discusses multiple strategies and approaches for both teachers and parents to assist in teaching students with disabilities. This paper also includes insight into the availability of early intervention resources within the Rochester area.
