Acidifying soil for crop production west of the Cascade Mountains

Commercial producers of\ud blueberries, azaleas, rhododendrons, and other ornamentals may\ud need to reduce soil pH for optimum production.\ud Soil acidification is best performed prior to planting; it is much\ud more difficult in established plantings. No routine soil test is\ud available to determine soil acidification amendment rates. This\ud publication is intended to provide guidelines for acidification of\ud commercial fields.
