The present article approaches the results of an inquiry that objective todescribe and to interpret the forms to accompaniment school used by families in lowerclassthat present school success relative. The empiricist referring was constructed frompupils of a public school in Blumenau, SC – Brazil, fit in lower-classes by means of thecrossing of three indices: economic capital, cultural capital and social capital. The forms ofaccompaniment operated by the families become related supervision tasks transmitted byteachers to the children, appeal to solidarity between them, narrow relationship with theprofessionals of the school, among others.
