The present article aims at analyzing different political-identitary aspects of the notions of historical consciousness, political culture and nation of 15 year old students from three neighboring countries: Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. This work is part of the project called “Jovens diante da História”, which sought inspiration in an experience conducted by European researchers called “Youth and History”, started in 1994. Based on a survey with more than 40 questions directed to students and teachers of the studied countries, a number of situations were selected in which the students approached topics related to the goals of the research.
