A criminalização das migrações e as consequências da crise global de refugiados na Europa

This article aims to analyze the criminalization of migration and the consequences of the global refugee crisis in Europe, especially in the European Union’s member states. It argues that this process reproduces itself through the restrictive border control, deportations, detentions, and xenophobic and racista practices that validate, in this sense, the violation of the human rights of these already vulnerable people.Este artigo objetiva analisar a criminalização das migrações e as consequências da crise global de refugiados na Europa, em especial, nos Estados-Membros da União Europeia. Argumenta-se que esse processo se reproduz com o restrito controle das fronteiras, deportações, detenções, práticas xenofóbicas e racistas que legitimam assim, a violação de direitos humanos desses indivíduos vulneráveis
