This reflexive study aimed to search, in the literature available, the concept of accessibility, its history, its relationship withthe Public Health System (SUS) and with the training of nursing professionals, and also to mention the factors that makedisabled people’s access to the SUS so difficult. Data were collected in books, scientific journal articles, reports, thesis,dissertations and articles extracted from databases through the following descriptors: Single Health System (BR), Access to Health Services and Access Structures.
