Ageing has become a phenomena most evident in contemporary societies. To this end, the objective of this study was to identify the most prevalent and the level of physical activity among the elderly in the municipality of Ignacio Martins-PR. The sample consisted of 41 individuals over 60 years, who attended the Family Health Program, the average age of participants was 69.41 ± 6.28 years ranging from 60 to 88 years. Data collection was performed in two steps, first was a survey of diseases from the Municipal Department of Health and secondly an interview was conducted at home for the elderly to assess level of physical activity (IPAQ-long version) and aspects related to drug use and involvement falls.
