A PRODUÇÃO DA SOCIABILIDADE VIOLENTA NAS RELAÇÕES SOCIAIS DOS MORADORES DOS CENTROS URBANOS BRASILEIROS

This article aims to discuss the aspects of the production of violent sociability within the social relations of the inhabitants of the Brazilian urban centers. The daily contact with the violence and the potential risk to which they are exposed in their daily routines, eventually transformed the concept of urban violence in a representation that articulates part of understanding and of the discussions on the current situation of their places of residence. The concern with the preservation of the physical integrity and property facing the constant expectation to be victim of violent actions, both as a result of the action of common criminals or the police, has culminated in the formation of a pattern of violent sociability in large Brazilian cities.Este artigo visa debater os aspectos da produção da sociabilidade violenta no seio das relações sociais dos moradores dos centros urbanos brasileiros. O convívio diário com a violência e o risco potencial a que estão expostos em suas rotinas cotidianas, acabaram por transformar a noção de violência urbana em uma representação que articula parte da compreensão e dos debates sobre a situação atual de seus locais de moradia. A preocupação com a conservação da integridade física e patrimonial frente a expectativa constante de ser vítima de ações violentas, tanto em decorrência da atuação de criminosos comuns quanto de policiais, tem culminado na formação de um padrão de sociabilidade violenta nas grandes cidades brasileiras
