Objective: Evaluating the epidemiological profile of patients treated at the rheumatology service of a university in the extreme south of Santa Catarina. Methods: A study of medical records of the first consultations of patients seen at the rheumatology outpatient clinic of the integrated clinics of a University of Southern Santa Catarina from July 2016 to July 2018 was performed. Results: The study sample consisted of female patients in the its highest prevalence, with a mean age of 55 years, which freely scheduled their appointment, due to complaints of chronic musculoskeletal pain.
