The representation of information in collective health: under the perspective of academic formation and the titles of post-graduation works

Introduction: The expressive volume of information coming from scientific works produced in the various areas of knowledge reveals the need to discuss and improve proposals that contribute to the organization and recovery of these informational resources. In view of the important reflection about the health-disease process as a possibility of development in the field of Collective Health. Objectives: to evidentiate, based on Information Science assumptions, how the dissertations and thesis defended and approved in the period from 2010 to 2019, by the Postgraduate Program stricto sensu in Collective Health, of the State University of Londrina (UEL), are represented thematically in the scope of Collective Health. Methodology: documentary research was carried out on the Program's website and on students' records, with the aim of identifying and analyzing, from a quantifiable perspective, the most studied themes, as well as the academic background of their authors. Results: it was found that the author's academic background is mostly related to the subject indicators of the dissertations and theses defended and approved. These are congruent researches, with relevant approaches to the health needs of the population. Thus, it is reinforced that the professional who acts in the field of Collective Health prioritizes the promotion, prevention, health recovery and articulates the field with knowledge, practices and intervention themes and that the application of procedures related to the thematic representation of the information, becomes of great value for the organization of this informational resource and, consequently, its recovery.O expressivo volume de informações oriundos de trabalhos cientí ficos produzidos nas diversas áreas do conhecimento revela a necessidade de se discutir e aperfeiçoar propostas que contribuam para a organização e recuperação desses recursos informacionais. Tendo em vista a importante reflexa o a respeito do processo saúde-doença como possibilidade de desenvolvimento do campo da Saúde Coletiva. Objetivos: evidenciar, baseado- em pressupostos da Ciência da Informação, como esta o representados tematicamente, no âmbito da Saúde Coletiva, as dissertações e teses defendidas e aprovadas no período de 2010 a 2019, pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação stricto sensu em Saúde Coletiva, da Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL). Metodologia: realizou-se pesquisa documental no site do Programa e nos cadastros dos estudantes, visando, de uma perspectiva quantiqualitativa, identificar e analisar os temas mais estudados, bem como a formação acadêmica de seus autores. Resultados: constatou-se que a área de formação acadêmica do autor, em sua maioria, esta relacionada aos indicadores de assuntos das dissertações e teses defendidas e aprovadas. São pesquisas congruentes, com abordagens pertinentes as necessidades de saúde da população. Assim, reforça-se que o profissional que atua no campo da Saúde Coletiva prioriza a promoção, prevenção, recuperação da saúde e articula o campo com saberes, práticas e temáticas de intervenção e que a aplicação de procedimentos relativos a representação temática da informação, torna-se de grande valia para a organização desse recurso informacional e, consequentemente, sua recuperação
