Anthropology and the decolonization of thought: thinking with Viveiros de Castro

This paper is an analytical work that discusses the binary thinking pattern of the modern Western world and the criticism that this rationality obtained from the decolonization movement of thought and continues in the direction of problematizing but also perceiving the contributions of Post- Social and in the sense of helping anthropology to ask how indigenous thought can help to think different from what is habituated, problematizing the ideas of knowledge and culture, observation present in classical anthropology and building spaces for new epistemic emergencies.Este escrito trata-se de um trabalho analítico que discute o padrão de pensamento binário do mundo ocidental moderno e as críticas que essa racionalidade obteve do movimento de decolonização do pensamento e prossegue na direção de problematizar, mas também perceber as contribuições da Antropologia Pós-Social e do Perspectivismo Ameríndio trabalhados por Viveiros de Castro, no sentido de ajudar a Antropologia a se perguntar de que modo o pensamento indígena pode ajudar a pensar diferente do que está habituado, problematizando as ideias de conhecimento e observação presentes na Antropologia clássica e construindo espaços para novas emergências epistêmicas
