On neoliberalism (Part I): Dardot and Laval contributions- before Hayek...

The article seeks to elucidate the crisis of liberalism, its repagination of the new liberalism culminating in neoliberalism. In short, it deals with changes in the capital system on a planetary scale. The starting point is the Walter Lippmann Colloquium (1938) to understand the creation of the Mont-Pèlerin Society (1947), demonstrating that neoliberalism predates Hayek himself in a sense. A properly liberal new interventionism is forged and in this reconfiguration the state, as an essential juridical-political complement of the capital system, begins to act shamelessly for the market and reform its way of managing society and the social, aiming at capitalist reproduction and accumulation.O artigo procura elucidar a crise do liberalismo, sua repaginação pelo novo liberalismo culminando com o neoliberalismo. Trata, em síntese, das mudanças operadas no sistema capital em escala planetária. O ponto de partida é o Colóquio de Walter Lippmann (1938) para se compreender a criação da Sociedade de Mont-Pèlerin (1947), demonstrando que o neoliberalismo antecede, em certo sentido, ao próprio Hayek. Um novo intervencionismo propriamente liberal é forjado e nessa reconfiguração o Estado, enquanto complemento jurídico-político essencial do sistema capital, passa a atuar descaradamente para o mercado e reforma sua forma de gerenciar a sociedade e o social, visando à reprodução e acumulação capitalistas
