Gêneros textuais e ensino de línguas: reflexões sobre aprendizagem e desenvolvimento

This paper aims at explaining how textual genres can be introduced in the school context. It also explores to what extent the notion of genre and its relation with social practices may contribute to the production and reception of information and ideas that express learners’ ways of thinking, interacting and feeling.Este artigo descreve como os gêneros textuais podem ser introduzidos no contexto escolar e aborda até que ponto a noção de gênero e sua relação com as práticas sociais podem contribuir para a produção e a recepção de informações e idéias que expressem as formas de pensar, interagir e sentir dos aprendizes
