The current paper aims to discuss the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs) in rural schools, based on the analysis of data prepared at the Brazil Internet Management Committee (CGI). The CGI conducted a research on the use of information and communication technologies in Brazilian schools in 2016,and unprecedentedly addresses in this research the aspects of the TDICs in rural schools.
