Noise and vibration incidents to the operator of an agricultural quadricycle

The prototype of the agricultural quadricycle was developed to work as a smaller tractor designed to meet the characteristics present in the family agriculture, destined to smaller areas and being able to emphasize the reduction of the physical effort of the worker, when compared with the human and animal traction. The experiment was carried out in the experimental area belonging to the agricultural accident investigation laboratory LIMA, at the Department of Agricultural Engineering (DENA), Federal University of Ceará -UFC. For the accomplishment of the experiment was used an agricultural quadricycle, of the brand GERAGRI, model GE-02.Measurements of operator occupational exposure to full body and hand and arm vibrations were performed using a Delta OHM HD 2030 vibration analyzer and the guidelines followed were those determined by NHO -09 and NHO -10, and Annex A of standard NBR ISO 5008: 2015 (ABNT, 2015).In the noise analysis, a personal noise dosimeter of the brand Instrutherm, model DOS-600 was used. For full body vibration, it is concluded that with the increase of the gait, from the first to the second, there is the increase of the average accelerations in the three axes. The maximum values of the resulting vibration acceleration do not differ statistically for the hood factor in the Z axis. All present statistical difference as a function of the gait increase when analyzing the values of aren and RVVR. For the evaluation of hand and arm vibration, it was concluded that the maximum peak values in the X, Y and Z axes presented significant differences for rotation and gait, not differing for the bonnet factor. The mean values of aren are well above the limit of exposure, presenting values of up to 50 m.s-2, it is believed that these values occurred as a result of the steering wheel being located near the motor of the agricultural quadricycle. For both types of vibration evaluated, corrective measures must be taken to reduce the vibration incident to the operator, either in the hand and arm system or in the whole body. The level of noise level measured on the agricultural quadricycle near the operator's ear was high in all variables tested. It is recommended that ear protectors be used for agricultural quadricycle operators and field assistants when working with these variants used.A preocupação com o aumento da produção, o ganho de tempo e diminuição da mão de obra, outros fatores como a melhoria nas condições de trabalho passou a ser levada em consideração, tornando as atividades agrícolas mais seguras, saudáveis e confortáveis ao operador. O protótipo do quadriciclo agrícola foi desenvolvido para trabalhar como um trator de menor porte destinado a atender características presentes na agricultura familiar, destinados para áreas menores e podendo destacar a redução do esforço físico do trabalhador. Assim objetivou-se realizar a avaliação de ruído e vibração do quadriciclo agrícola em diferentes rotações de trabalho, marchas e com e sem a presença da capota do equipamento. Para tanto o experimento foi realizado na área pertencente ao Laboratório de Investigação de Acidentes com Máquinas agrícolas -LIMA, da Universidade Federal do Ceará -UFC. Para tal foi utilizado um quadriciclo agrícola, da marca GERAGRI, modelo GE-02. As medições da exposição ocupacional do operador a vibrações de corpo inteiro e mãos e braços, foram realizadas utilizado um analisador de vibração HD 2030 da Delta OHM e as diretrizes seguidas foram as determinadas pela NHO –09 e NHO –10, e o anexo A da norma NBR ISO 5008:2015 (ABNT, 2015). Na análise de ruído, utilizou-se um dosímetro pessoal de ruído da marca Instrutherm, modelo DOS-600. Para vibração de corpo inteiro, conclui-se que com o aumento da marcha, da primeira para a segunda, há o aumento da acelerações médias nos três eixos. Os valores de pico máximo de aceleração de vibração resultante não diferem estatisticamente para o fator capota no eixo Z. Todos apresentam diferença estatística em função do aumento da marcha, quando se analisa os valores de aren e VDVR. Para a avaliação da vibração de mãos e braços conclui-se que os valores de pico máximo nos eixos X, Y e Z apresentaram diferenças significativas para rotação e marcha, não diferindo para o fator capota. Os valores médios de aren estão muito acima do limite de exposição, apresentando valores de até 50 m.s-2, acredita-se que esses valores ocorreram em função do volante estar localizado próximo do motor do quadriciclo agrícola. Para ambos os tipos de vibração avaliados, devem-se tomadas medidas corretivas, para se obter a redução da vibração incidente ao operador. O nível de nível de ruído medido no quadriciclo agrícola próximo ao ouvido do operador foi elevado em todas as variáveis testadas. Recomenda-se o uso de protetores auriculares para os operadores de quadriciclo agrícola e auxiliares de campo quando estiverem trabalhando com essas varáveis utilizadas
