Análise técnica e financeira da reciclagem de resíduos de construção civil: estudo de caso

The production of waste from the construction industry represents 50% of the total urban solid waste generated globally. Some works deal with management from the generation of waste, removal from the site, processing of the material for recycling outside the generating work or analysis of costs of this recycling process outside the generating source. However, there are few studies on the economic viability of waste recycling at the site, considering the reverse logistics of the process and construction management, which is an important research gap. The present work has the general objective to evaluate technically and economically, in the light of concepts of sustainability and logistics, the recycling of Class A waste in works of large construction. The study was divided into four stages: 1) study of the chain of management and management of the company's RCC, 2) recycling of class A waste, 3) application of recycled aggregates and 4) evaluation of the use of recycled aggregates on site. Trace of subfloor mortar, internal and external paving, considering the replacement of sand by recycled aggregate of concrete and mortar, in the contents of 25% and 50%, in addition to the reference traces used in the company. The financial results indicate that the most efficient scenario would be the one that contemplates the grinding of waste, without possibility of recycling of the same and the acquisition of recycled aggregate. It is worth noting that the scenario that considered the recovery of the residue at the site had a cost of 12% above the financially more feasible case and 11% below the scenario that did not consider the crushing process or even the acquisition of a recycled aggregate. Regarding the properties of the mortar in the fresh state, the consistency, the incorporated air content and the mass density were evaluated. In these cases it was observed that there is significant difference only of the incorporated air content of the mortars with the recycled aggregates when compared with the mortars with natural aggregate. As regards the hardened state, the properties of bulk density, dynamic modulus of elasticity, tensile strength in bending, compression and adhesion, cracking and permeability were verified. It was observed that all the properties presented cases of significant and non-significant differences between the mortars. It was also observed that the cracks were reduced with the substitution of natural sand for recycled aggregate and that, in terms of adhesion, external plaster mortars with recycled aggregate increased up to 40% in relation to the natural sand trace.A produção de resíduos da indústria da construção civil representa 50% do total de resíduos sólidos urbanos gerados a nível global. Alguns trabalhos abordam a gestão desde a geração do resíduo, sua retirada do canteiro, processamento do material para reciclagem fora da obra geradora ou análise de custos desse processo de reciclagem fora da fonte geradora. Todavia, encontram-se poucos estudos sobre a viabilidade econômica da reciclagem de resíduos no próprio canteiro, considerando a logística reversa do processo e a gestão da construção, sendo essa uma lacuna importante de pesquisa. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo geral avaliar técnica e economicamente, à luz de conceitos de sustentabilidade e de logística, a reciclagem de resíduos classe A em obras de construtora de grande porte. O estudo foi dividido em quatro etapas: 1) estudo da cadeia de gestão e gerenciamento de RCC da empresa, 2) reciclagem do resíduo classe A, 3) aplicação dos agregados reciclados e 4) avaliação do uso dos agregados reciclados em obra. Foram realizados traços de argamassa de contrapiso, emboço interno e externo, considerando a substituição de areia por agregado reciclado de concreto e argamassa, nos teores de 25% e 50%, além dos traços de referência utilizados na empresa. Os resultados financeiros indicam que o cenário mais eficiente seria o que contempla a trituração de resíduo, sem possibilidade de reciclagem do mesmo e a aquisição de agregado reciclado. Destaca-se que o cenário que considerou o beneficiamento do resíduo no canteiro apresentou custo de 12% acima caso financeiramente mais viável e 11% abaixo do cenário que não considerou o processo de britagem ou mesmo a aquisição de agregado reciclado. No que compete às propriedades da argamassa no estado fresco, foram avaliados a consistência, teor de ar incorporado e densidade de massa. Nesses quesitos verificou-se que há diferença significativa somente do teor de ar incorporado das argamassas com os agregados reciclados quando comparado com as argamassas com agregado natural. No que tange ao estado endurecido, verificaram-se as propriedades de densidade de massa aparente, módulo de elasticidade dinâmico, resistência à tração na flexão, à compressão e de aderência, fissuras e permeabilidade. Observou-se que todas as propriedades apresentaram casos de diferenças significativas e não significativas entre as argamassas. Notou-se ainda que as fissuras foram reduzidas com a substituição de areia natural por agregado reciclado e que, quanto à aderência, as argamassas de emboço externo com agregado reciclado apresentaram acréscimo de até 40% em relação ao traço com areia natural
