Distribution of poverty in the state of Ceará: a multidimensional approach

This paper aimed to analyze poverty considering economic functionings, human capital, infrastructure and the environment in the state of Ceará in a multidimensional optical. In analysis of the results, it can be observed that the Multidimensional Poverty Index (IPM) to the state decreased over years studied, but the environmental functioning was that less contributed to the improvement of the index, concluding that the improvement in the index of Ceará will occur with the expansion of policies dealing with drought.O artigo teve como objetivo analisar a pobreza considerando funcionamentos econômicos, de capital humano, de infraestrutura e meio ambiente no estado do Ceará sob uma ótica multidimensional. Nos resultados, observou-se que o Índice de Pobreza Multidimensional (IPM) decresceu ao longo dos anos estudados, porém o funcionamento ambiental foi o que menos contribuiu para essa evolução, concluindo-se que, as melhorias no índice do Ceará ocorrerão com a ampliação das políticas de convivência com a seca.El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la pobreza considerando lós funcionamientos, económico, el capital humano la infraestructura y el medio ambiente en el estado de Ceará, en una perspectiva multidimensional.
