The study’s objective was to report the nurses’ self-evaluation of health and quality of life, associated with the socioeconomic characterization. Transversal study, with a sample of 190 nurses, in a state’s reference general hospital. For procedures of descriptive analysis and inferences, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences 13.0 used. The comparison of averages was made, using statistical tests: Mann-Whitney, Fried - man, t of Student and ANOVA. For the accomplishment of correlation analysis, the Spearman’s correlation coefficient was used. The study strictly followed the regulation of national and international research.
