Power and body in Focault: which body?

NOMOS: Revista do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direito da UFC, Fortaleza, v.35, n.1, 2015, p.15-33.This paper seeks to analyze the readings of the body in Michel Foucault and thus understand the power relations that invest the body. The thread is not the reading of power, but its effects, while productive power, for the production of bodies. From there we identified two different forms of constructivism present in Foucault. It concludes that the body in Foucault is dematerialized, because it runs away from its condition as an object and the notion of materiality in the modern philosophical tradition, and, thus, it is not such a thing open to power, but an instance that jointly realizes power in materializing it as it appears in a specific form.O presente texto busca analisar as possíveis leituras de corpo em Michel Foucault e com isso compreender as relações de poder que os investem. O fio condutor não é a leitura do poder, mas seus efeitos, enquanto poder produtivo, na produção dos corpos. A partir daí identificamos duas diferentes formas de construtivismo presentes em Foucault. Conclui-se que o corpo em Foucault é desmaterializado, porque escapa da condição de objeto e da noção de materialidade da tradição filosófica moderna, e, assim, não é coisa disposta ao poder, mas uma instância que conjuntamente realiza o poder ao materializá-lo no aparecer de uma forma específica
