Psicanálise: uma ética do desejo

Revista de Psicologia, Fortaleza, v. 3, n. 2, p. 56-60, jul./dez. 2012.The article explores the thesis of Lacan, that the only thing one can be blamed, at least from an analytical perspective, is to have yielded to his desire. It questions what was the desire Lacan talked about. Was it the same sexual desire that Freud also spoke? It states that sexual desire, as Freud and Lacan showed us, is always contentious, since their first objects are prohibited. Desire can cause distress, every desire involves, in its origin, something denied by the subject. From this point the author continues to ask why Lacan tells us we can be blamed for yielding to desire if we refuse to some extent this desire? The answer is that we are responsible for it, even if this desire is unconscious. This means to say that the unconscious is part of us and that perhaps it is even our very essence. The author calls also attention to the fact that since the invention of psychoanalysis, Freud put us facing a reality that definitely changes the conception we have of man and his ethical dimension. It concludes that, since Freud, the man is confronted by the fact that he is no longer sovereign in his own home and he doesn’t own his deeper motives and that can be mistaken in what concerns the meaning of his actions and that according to Lacan, the judgment that man makes of his actions can not fail to consider the question of desire, even if it is unconscious.O artigo explora e analisa a tese de Lacan, segundo a qual a única coisa da qual se pode ser culpado, pelo menos da perspectiva analítica, é de ter cedido de seu desejo. Indaga de que desejo falava Lacan. Seria o desejo sexual de que também falava Freud? Afirma que o desejo sexual, como Freud e Lacan nos mostraram, é sempre conflituoso, na medida em que seus primeiros objetos são proibidos. O desejo pode provocar angústia, todo desejo na sua origem comporta algo de recusado pelo sujeito. A partir disso continua a indagar por que Lacan nos diz que podemos ser culpados por ceder de nosso desejo se nós próprios recusamos em alguma medida esse desejo? Responde que somos responsáveis por ele, mesmo que ele seja inconsciente. Isso significa dizer que o inconsciente faz parte de nós e que, talvez, ele seja mesmo a nossa própria essência. Chama, ainda, a atenção para o fato de que desde a invenção da Psicanálise, Freud nos colocou diante de uma realidade que altera definitivamente a concepção que temos do homem e de sua dimensão ética. Conclui que, a partir de Freud, o homem se vê diante do fato de que não é soberano dentro de sua própria casa, que não é dono de seus motivos mais profundos e de que pode se enganar quanto ao sentido de suas ações e que, segundo Lacan, o juízo que o homem faz de suas ações não pode mais deixar de considerar a questão do desejo, mesmo que ele seja inconsciente
