The work analyzes the operation of industrial ventilation system to control fluid volumetric flow rate at constant speed using damper and at variable speed, using inverter. Two methods to control fluid volumetric flow rate were compared through experimental measures and computational calculation in order to evaluate the best method of control aiming the energetic efficiency. The model gives support for the development of a computational simulation tool.
