Wittgenstein e o antipsicologismo: leitura crítica do tractatus logico-philosophicus

Revista de Psicologia, Fortaleza, v. 20, n.1, 2002, p. 42-53.The paper discusses the anti-psychologism of the "first" Wittgenstein, whose main work was the famous Tractatus Logico-philosophicus (1921). After a historical and conceptual explanation of anti-psychologism, this paper shows a synthesis of the ontological-linguistic theory of Tractatus and investigates anti-psychologism through some texts such as the Notebooks and a letter by Wittgenstein. It concludes that, despite creating the conditions of a philosophical subjectivism (which appears in the concept of "philosophical ego" and "metaphysical subject"), Wittgenstein's thought can be situated among those whose tradition restricts empirical psychology as referred to normative disciplines.O artigo discute o antipsicologismo no assim chamado "primeiro" Wittgenstein, cuja principal obra foi o famoso Tractatus Logico-philosophicus (1921). Após uma caracterização histórica e conceitual do antipsicologismo (seção 2), é feita uma breve síntese da teoria linguístico-ontológica do Tractatus e um exame do antipsicologismo centrado naquela obra (com o auxílio de algumas obras de apoio, como os Diários e uma carta de Wittgenstein) (seção 3). Ao final, conclui-se que, apesar de abrir margem para um certo subjetivismo filosófico no Tractatus (como indica a noção de "eu filosófico" ou "sujeito metafísico"), Wittgenstein pode ser considerado membro da tradição que impõe restrições à psicologia empírica frente às disciplinas normativas
