Objective: to evaluate the growth of children in the first two years old of life followed at Follow-up. Method: a documental and retrospective study developed in a maternity hospital of reference Fortaleza/Ceará/Northeast of Brazil. The data were collected from 89 medical records of infants enrolled in the Program Follow-up, and then were examined by considering, in the first stage, the descriptive statistics. Then analytical statistics was performed by the Mann-Whitney Test using a significance level of 5%. The research project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee, protocol nº 66/10.
