OBJECTIVE: To assess quality of life and sleepiness scale in patients with syndrome of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) treated with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). METHODS: We conducted a cross-sectional study in the Sleep Center of Fortaleza (CESF), from August 2011 to April 2012. Participated 33 CPAP users with OSA, independent of sex, and adults or the elderly. We applied three data collection instruments: a questionnaire on quality of life, demographic and clinical data, and the Epworth sleepiness scale (ESS).
