The objective of this work is to present an analysis of its energy potential through the physicochemical characterization of solid waste from the pulp and paper industry. In order to compose the characterization, the proximate, thermogravimetric (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (MEV), X-ray fluorescence (FRX) and calorific values. The selected residues were: Thickener fiber, pond fiber, wood decanter patio cleaning residue, clean bark and dirty bark. Among the results found, cleaning residue of the wooden patio decanter and the clean bark presented, respectively, a calorific value of 17,05 MJ.kg-1 and 15,38 MJ.kg-1. From the analysis of their ashes, it was observed that most of the residues are rich in compounds that melt at elevated tem...
