This Thesis intends to analyze the teaching practices of teacher Hilda de Souza in Sao Bento - PB at School for Girls and School Group Fausto Meira in the period 1948 to 1953. So, we situate in the field of New Cultural History historiographical current that favored an expansion of research sources for the history of education, making stories of life before faded the writing of history as an object of study and analysis. Based on memory usage and oral history as a methodology, that led us to other sources such as a notebook for planning of the biographee.
