The nitrogen (N) is the most required nutrient to crop corn (Zea mays L.), however there are few studies on its use in second harvest crops. . This work aim to determinate the economical viability of the usage of several sources and rates of nitrogen in the productivity of second corn crop in no-till system. The experiment was developed in in an Oxisol, in agricultural years of 2007 and 2008. The treatments were composed of three N sources [Ammonium sulfonitrate with nitrification inhibitor (ASN + I), ammonium sulfate (AS), and urea] in five N rates (0, 50, 100, 150 and 200 kg ha-1), totally applied in the coverage, in six leaf stage (V6).
