CARACTERíSTICAS FISIOLÓGICAS E ECOLÓGICAS DE ISOLADOS DE RIZÓBIO ORIUNDOS DE SOLOS íCIDOS DO MUNICíPIO DO RIO PRETO DA EVA, AMAZONAS

Some isolated summarized, besides fixing N2, are able to solubilize poorly soluble phosphates, making the P available for plants and for themselves. However, Al and acidity of Amazonian soils may decrease the population of these microorganisms. This study evaluated the nodulation capacity, tolerance to acidity and Al toxicity, as well as the ability to solubilize phosphates of Ca and Al of 35 rhizobia in agricultural soils of Rio Preto da Eva, AM. Samples under agricultural cultivation were collected and used as sources of inoculum for the cowpea beans. The INPA-RP7, RP10-INPA, INPA-RP9, INPA-RP8, INPARP1 and INPA-RP3 inocula gave yield of dry mass of shoots and nodules greater than the witness. The majority of isolates (92%) showed tolerance to acid and aluminum was the most limiting factor because only 8% of the isolates showed tolerance to aluminum toxicity within 18 Assessment dial. O presente trabalho avaliou a capacidade nodulífera, a tolerância a acidez e ao Al tóxico, bem como a capacidade de solubilizar fosfatos de Ca e de Al de 35 isolados de rizóbio de solos agrícolas, do município de Rio Preto da Eva, AM. Amostras de solo sob cultivos agrícolas foram coletadas e utilizadas como fontes de inoculo para plantas de feijão caupi. Os inóculos INPA-RP7, INPA-RP10, INPA-RP9, INPA-RP8, INPARP1 e INPA-RP3 proporcionaram rendimento de massa seca da parte aérea e dos nódulos superior a testemunha. A maioria dos isolados (92%) apresentou tolerância a acidez, e o alumínio foi o fator mais limitante, pois apenas 8% dos isolados apresentaram tolerância ao alumínio tóxico num período de 18 dial de avaliação.
