The objective of this study is to improve knowledge about the importance and the methodology for calculating the Carbon footprint for different vegetable leafy crops grown in Spain under different management systems. Knowing the Carbon footprint generated in these systems would aid at improving production techniques, equipment and structures while minimizing environmental impacts.El objetivo de este estudio es dar a conocer la importancia de la huella de carbono en la agricultura y cuantificarla en los diferentes sistemas de producción de cultivos hortícolas de hoja en España, con el fin de seleccionar y mejorar las técnicas de producción, equipamiento y estructuras que minimicen dicho impacto
